This two bedroom upstairs property was only completed in 2006 and stands in a complex with a wall round the exterior, in a block of 68 similar properties, set in the middle of orange groves. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds, with a sofa bed in the lounge. The property will comfortably sleep four guests. The apartment has been fitted out to a high standard and has everything you need for a comfortable holiday.There is a solarium with the usual patio furniture with separate stair access, a small balcony at the front of the property with access from the lounge area. There is a communal pool in the enclosed community area which is kept well maintained.
The apartment is in Formentera Del Segura, which is a typical quiet Spanish town. There are a variety of shops, restaurants, banks and bars. In front of the urbanisation there are bars and a supermarket. There is a very pretty church and the town hall set in the village square where you can sit and watch the world go by.The river Segura runs through Formentera this is a lovely place to go for a walk.
Formentera is about 10 minutes walk away from the centre of Rojales or 20 minutes away from Benimar in Benijofar where the local Brits spend their time in the many bars and restaurants where entertainment can be found in the afternoons and evenings including live acts, karaoke, bingo and quiz nights.
Formentera Del Segura is ideally situated for the major golf courses, the new one being La Finca in Algorfa, this is about ten minutes drive away. There are three other large golf courses Villamartin, Las Ramblas, Campoamor and numerous smaller ones within 25 minutes drive. Rojales has a very good Championship golf course only 5 minutes drive away.
Formentera is only about 10 minutes from Torrevieja, which is a lively tourist town, if you want an energetic day or night out. There is also a water park approximately 5 minutes away in Quesada. If you want to be livelier still Benidorm is approximately 1and a half hour away.
The apartment is approx. 11 kilometers to Guardamar a lively, but not to tourist orientated town, where there is miles of fantastic beach with a blue flag for safety & cleanliness. There is also a marina in Guardamar where all types of water sport can be enjoyed, and if you fancy some fresh air to your body there is also a large nudist beach. Guardamar is one of the preferred places that the Spanish, living inland, visit for their summer holidays.
If you want a lively holiday without having to travel then this area is not for you. A car is recommended.
